One of the questions I am asked most is: What is coaching? I hope this answers your question:
The word “coach” is believed to date back to centuries to a small town in Hungary where coaches were built to transport passengers from where they were to where they wanted to be and that basic premise still applies to day in planes, trains, buses and trucks. The usage of “coach was expanded even more when the sports world applied it to the knowledgeable and skilled person using specialized tools and techniques to help athletes improve their performances and go from where the athletes were to where they wanted to be — perhaps the World Series or Super Bowl.
Now, and for the past 2 decades, the word “coach” has also been applied to a person, such as me, who is a professional and certified to help others go from where they are to where they want to be in the most significant dimensions of their lives: their careers, retirement and relationships of personal and societal nature.
As a Certified Coach, I will work with you in applying scientific, evidence-based techniques, methods and tools to help you reach your full potential.
